A workspace is a bounded project room. You can use it to:
Store files and folders
Manage minisites
Add or manage members
Create snapshots
Review content
Publish or hand off content

At the top of the page, you can see:
Workspaces | 1 | There is 1 active workspace in this scope |
Total members | 0 | No people or groups are currently listed across workspaces |
Has snapshot | 0 | No workspace currently has a handoff snapshot |

The table shows one workspace:
Workspace name | My private workspace |
Visibility | Private |
Kind | Team R&D |
Share type | None shown |
Scope | Account |
Members | 0 |
Pages | 0 pages |
To open the existing workspace:

The workspace details page should open.
Use the search bar under All Workspaces:

Use the All kinds dropdown on the right side of the table.
This filter lets you narrow the list by workspace type or kind.

When a workspace is selected, you can use the buttons in the top-right action bar.
Open | Opens the selected workspace |

Delete | Deletes the selected workspace if you have permission |

To open my private workspace:
Make sure the checkbox next to the workspace is selected.
Click Open in the top-right action bar.
You can also open it by clicking the workspace name.
To share the selected workspace:
Click Share.
Choose users, groups, spaces, or sharing settings if prompted.
Confirm the sharing changes.
Because this workspace is currently Private, sharing may require changing access settings or inviting specific people.
Use caution with this action.
Click Delete.
Read the confirmation message carefully.
Confirm only if you want to permanently remove or archive the workspace.
If the workspace contains content later, deletion may also affect files, pages, minisites, or related workflow items.
To deselect the workspace:
Click Clear in the top-right action bar.
You can also uncheck the selected checkbox on the left side of the table.

To create another workspace:
Click Create workspace in the upper-right corner.

To create the workspace, complete the required fields:
Title | Empty | Enter a workspace name |
Kind | Team R&D | Keep or choose another kind |
Access mode | Shared with selected space | Keep or choose another access mode |
Home scope type | Space | Keep or choose another scope |
Space | Not selected | Select a space, if available |

The Create workspace button is disabled because the form is not ready.
The main issue shown on the screen is:
You are not an active member of any space in this account yet. Pick a different scope or ask an admin to add you to a space.
This means Home scope type is set to Space, but your account does not currently have an active space membership.
If available, change the workspace scope:
Open Home scope type.
Choose a different option, such as Account or Private, if listed.
Fill in Title.
Add a Description, if needed.
Click Create workspace.
If the workspace must belong to a space:
Contact an account admin.
Ask them to add you as an active member of the correct space.
Return to this modal.
Select the space from the Space dropdown.
Complete the form.
